Bibiane Makoubi-Bokoko

Bibiane Makoubi-Bokoko

Member of NEVER FORGET BIAFRA

Bibiane was born in Brussels. Originally from Gabon, she grew up between several countries (Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, United States, former Yugoslavia and Ivory Coast). She later moved to France where she obtained a degree in Accounting and Management and joined a major industrial firm.

In addition to her professional career, Bibiane is deeply involved with charities, and met Regina while participating in a project addressing human and community needs. Her migrant experience endowed her with strength and a cultural wealth which greatly benefitted from the Gabonese roots she inherited from her parents.

Bibiane is a mother and values the benefits of education and faith in the future – an opportunity which is not offered to all. She knows the importance of self-help for those with wounded childhoods and shattered identities, as a tool for them to use their past as a strength to build their future. The founding values of Never forget Biafra, and her determination to bring to the fore forgotten and broken personal histories shaped by war, have led Bibiane to join the Endowment Fund team.
